ARLS - Teen Depression and Suicide - Another Celebrity Victim
Continuing in the Osmond tradition of having a large family, Marie Omond has eight kids: oldest child Stephen (from her first marriage) and seven other kids from her marriage to her second ex-husband. Of the seven other kids, two are biological (a son and daughter) and five are adopted (three daughters and two sons). Osmond is pictured here at the “Toy Story 2” world premiere in 1999 with (clockwise from left) adopted son Michael, biological son Stephen and adopted son Brandon.
Michael Blosil, the 18-year-old son of Marie Osmond, jumped to his death Friday night from his downtown Los Angeles apartment building, leaving behind a note referring to a lifelong battle with depression. He sent a text message Friday night directing friends and family to a suicide note in his Los Angeles apartment before he leaped to his death from the eighth floor of his building.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Blosil didn't explicitly mention ending his life, but the note he left clearly was a suicide note as details included his unhappiness and mentioned things he would be doing for the very last time.
